Your submission has been successfully received and a UJ Online consultant will be in contact with you soon to assist with the rest of the application process. Please note, successful submission does not guarantee a successful application, only that the answers you gave in the form indicate that you are qualified to apply.

FAQs

A consultant will contact you soon to assist you with the next stage of your application. In the meantime, you can make sure that you have all your required certifications and paperwork ready. Please read through the list of required documentation that is found in the “Admission requirements” section of the page for the specific online programme you are applying for.

If you have a question, you can email enquiries@online.uj.ac.za or phone 0800 233 723 (toll-free), however, the consultant will also be able to answer your questions when they contact you.

It takes between seven and 14 working days for us to process your application. Application documents must be submitted no less than two weeks before the module’s starting date. 

Once you have been accepted into the online programmes of your choice, you will need to make a payment and then register once your payment has been reflected on your UJ Online student account. Payment details are explained further below and you can read through our step-by-step registration guide here. 

Only the Johannesburg Business School MBA has an application fee, the other programmes do not require an application fee. Once you have been accepted into the programme, the regular module fee will be payable.

UJ Online uses a pay-per-module system so that you only need to pay one module at a time. Payment must successfully reflect on your account before the starting date of the module, however, different payment methods require different lengths of time before the payment will reflect. 

Credit card payments are recommended as they are immediate, while EFT payments from South African accounts can take up to 72 hours to process and foreign accounts up to 10 days. For more information on payment methods, please go here.

We realise life happens and circumstances can change. Our online qualifications are specifically designed to be flexible to people’s needs and this is why we have created a lenient cancellation policy. 

Students who cancel before their module’s start date are entitled to a full refund while those who cancel within the first week of the seven-week module will get a 90% refund and students who cancel within the second week get a 50% refund.
